White pebbles are the most widely used decorative stone in Indian landscaping because they brighten shaded corners, define planting beds and keep a garden looking finished with almost no upkeep. Ours are natural stone pebbles graded and packed at the Kishangarh (Ajmer) stone hub in Rajasthan and dispatched across India.
The stone is sorted by size and washed before grading, so the pebbles arrive with a consistent look rather than a mix of chips and dust. Shade varies naturally from bright chalk-white to a soft off-white with faint grey veining — that variation is a property of natural stone, not a defect, and it is what keeps a large spread from looking artificial.
White is the safest choice when you want contrast: against dark soil, black granite edging, teak decking or green lawn it reads clean from a distance. It is used most often as a top dressing over landscape fabric, as a border strip along walls and driveways, and as a filler around feature plants and sculptures.

Buying guide
- Pick 10–20 mm for general ground cover — it is the most forgiving size underfoot and does not scatter as easily as fine grades.
- Use 20–40 mm where water runs or where you want the stone to stay put on a slope.
- Lay landscape fabric under the pebbles. It is the single biggest factor in how clean white stone stays over the years.
- Order a slightly generous quantity in one go — natural shade varies batch to batch, and topping up later may not match exactly.
- For indoor pots and vases, polished white pebbles look better under artificial light; unpolished suits outdoor beds.

- Do white pebbles stay white outdoors?
- They collect dust and leaf debris like any light-coloured surface. A rinse with a garden hose, or raking and hosing once or twice a season, restores most of the brightness. Laying them over landscape fabric so soil cannot wash up through the layer makes the biggest difference.
- Which size of white pebble is best for a garden bed?
- The 10–20 mm grade suits most garden beds. It covers soil well, looks proportionate around medium plants, and is comfortable to walk on if you need to step in to prune.
