Grey Pebbles for Driveways, Pathways & Modern Landscaping
Grey pebbles are the practical middle ground between bright white and dark black — they hide dust and tyre marks, sit comfortably against concrete and exposed brick, and suit contemporary elevations where a strong colour would fight the architecture.
Because the tone is neutral, grey works as a background material. It is the usual pick for driveway margins, side-of-house strips, parking bays and pathways where the stone has to look tidy without drawing attention. It also ages well: dust settling on grey stone is far less visible than on white.
Tone varies from light silver-grey to a darker slate-grey across grades and batches, with natural mottling through the stone. Ordering the full quantity together keeps the spread consistent.
Available in retail quantities and in bulk for landscaping contractors, builders and project sites, dispatched across India.

Buying guide
- For driveways and areas that take vehicle load, pick the larger 20–40 mm grade and a compacted base — fine grades scatter and rut.
- For walking paths, 10–20 mm gives a firmer, more comfortable surface.
- Grey is the most forgiving colour where dust is a problem, such as roadside frontage.
- Edge the area with a kerb, timber or metal strip so the stone stays where it is laid.
- Mixing two grey grades (fine and coarse) helps the surface knit together and move less.
Where grey pebbles are used
Grey Pebbles — questions we are asked
- Are grey pebbles suitable for a driveway?
- Larger grades are commonly used for driveway margins and light-traffic driveways over a properly prepared and compacted base with edge restraint. For heavy vehicle traffic, a bound or paved surface with pebble borders is more durable.
- How deep should I lay grey pebbles?
- For decorative ground cover, a depth of roughly 40–50 mm is typical so the base does not show through. Trafficked areas need more. We can help you work out quantity once you share the area and intended depth.
- Will the shade match if I order more later?
- Natural stone varies between batches. A later top-up will be close but may not match exactly, so it is worth ordering the whole area in one lot.
